Job Title: Accounts Administrator

Location: Auckland, New Zealand

Job Type: Full-Time


About the Role:

A reputed Kiwi company is seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator with a “can do” attitude to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of accounting and bookkeeping experience in a similar role, and possess a tertiary qualification in accounting. A working knowledge of the New Zealand residential and commercial property accounting and GST is essential alongside a general passion for accounting.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·      Perform double-entry bookkeeping with high accuracy.

·      Reconcile accounts to ensure their accuracy.

·      File GST returns in compliance with New Zealand regulations.

·      Manage AR< AP and payroll responsibilities efficiently.

·      Generate regular comprehensive accounting reports.


Required Skills and Experience:

·      Proven accounting knowledge and experience.

·      Proficiency in Xero accounting software or similar.

·      Exposure to property rental accounting is highly advantageous.

·      Experience in property development accounting will be an added advantage

·      Experience in office administration

·      Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

·      Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

·      Outstanding analytical skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

·      Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

·      Managing multiple tasks with efficiency.

·      Genuine friendliness and approachability and a good phone manner

·      Hardworking, with a dedication to exceeding expectations.

·      Ability to maintain composure and remain calm under pressure.
