Alpana Gupta
Registered Financial Adviser
Alpana is a registered financial advisor with Professional Financial Solutions. She provides solutions to clients in insurance and mortgage. She has completed her M.Com from India and National Certificate in Business Administration (Finance), from MIT, Auckland.
Alpana has been an accountant and business administrator in her previous roles in India.
Nish Pai
Professional Trainer
Nish Pai, Head of Learning Experience at Mitre 10, has been in the learning profession for the last 20 years across 3 countries and 6 industries, helping people find their passion and purpose. An award-winning instructional designer, certified organisational coach, executive leadership expert, and psychometric assessor, she strives everyday to create safe spaces, celebrate cognitive diversity and empower high performance.
Garry Gupta
Founder & Chairman
The Migrant Careers Support Trust is founded by Garry Gupta. Garry is a marketing consultant, with over 20 years of experience in media and marketing, in both India and New Zealand.
A migrant from India, Garry came to New Zealand in 2009 and started his career in the film industry. He moved to marketing of some big community media brands in Auckland, covering radio, print and digital media.
Armed with a Certificate in Digital Marketing from the Marketing Association of NZ, he provides solutions to ethnic clients by using various digital media and marketing tools, under his company, Media Solutions Kiwi Ltd.
Garry has also been the secretary of the India New Zealand Business Council, since 2013 and helps in running the day-to-day affairs of the Council, including events, marketing and publications.
He has been acknowledged as an emerging leader by the New Zealand Asian Leaders Foundation.

Ashima Singh
Barrister & Solicitor

Ashima graduated in Law from the University of Auckland, New Zealand in 2011. She successfully completed her professional legal studies from the Institute of Professional Legal Studies in Auckland. She was admitted to the High Court of New Zealand in August 2011.
Ashima co-founded Legal Associates in 2014 and prior to that she worked with Kenton Chambers Lawyers as a Barrister and Solicitor for 3 years. She specializes in Property Law (Conveyancing), Businesses Sale and Purchase, Leases, Commercial Law, Relationship Property disputes and Employment Law.
Ashima has been awarded the Business Woman of the year award by the Indian Business Awards 2017.
Siddharth Sharma
Corporate Governance Professional
Siddhartha Sharma came to New Zealand in 2014 and is now well settled with his family in NZ. Siddhartha is a Legal and Compliance Professional. A qualified Chartered Secretary with Fellow membership of ICSI (India), ICSA (UK), GNZ also a Law Graduate from Delhi University.
Siddhartha is a member Auckland Branch Committee of Governance New Zealand (GNZ), an Emerging Member with New Zealand Asian Leaders (NZAL). He is currently managing Corporate Secretarial Service Line for NZ with TMF Group based in Auckland.
