Migrant Connect Citizens Advice Bureau Pakuranga is one of the 30 Migrant Connect sites which provides a specially focused service for new migrants. This service is funded by Immigration New Zealand.
When someone moves to a new country there are a million questions to be answered and sometimes people don’t know who to ask. At Citizens Advice Bureau Pakuranga, we offer free face to face, online and over the phone settlement information. We have a
number of volunteers who speak a number of languages including Cantonese, Mandarin, Hindi, Punjabi, Spanish, Filipino etc.
We also hold free workshops/ information sessions for migrants covering different topics such as Tenancy, Employment Law, Taxation, Career Guidance, NZ Health System, Starting a business in NZ etc.
